Shor is located within Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. They are now open to dine in for three meals a day. The service is awesome from the front greeter, server, bus boy, all the way to the chef. They will accommodate your food request no matter how much you deviate from the menu. Thanks to Kiana Maleki (director of food & beverages) and her staff such as Felix, Juan, Angel, Peter, Paige, and Arturo among many others. Excellent spot to sit, relax, and quiet enough where you could have a normal conversation with someone. The staff was amazing. I got the chance to meet staff member named Jay, who was amazingly attentive and whom had great recommendations. The food was absolutely incredible, so much so, that I just had to try extra things to see if it all was or if it was just the meal I ordered. I could not list one complaint. This is a must destination, even if only for one meal.
Hands down, the best service I’ve had! Additionally, Ahi Sandwich is phenomenal and the lemon pepper wings were the best I’ve ever had and I’m from Atlanta. Whatever you guys are doing, don’t change it because I’m coming back for more next time I’m in town! I attached some photos from our dinners here. The bone marrow and grilled octopus were also great!
Wonderful short rib bolognese!!! The pasta was cooked perfectly, the meat was so tender and the sauce was sooo good. We shared one dish and left very full. Looked nicer but I took a bite before taking the photo. The marinated olives were really good too.

We had a wonderful dinner. Rob was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly. He was amazing with our 5 year old daughter. It was our first time in OC and he gave us some recommendations on places in the area to visit.
Service was amazing and the food was so good! Our server was so pleasant and so attentive despite the many tables he was working with. Another server, Rob, came to the table to offer some insider tips on places to visit once he found out we had never been to the area (we visited a few today and they lived up to the hype!). I wasn't expecting much from a hotel restaurant but I was blown away by our dinners. I had the most incredible salmon- perfectly cooked with crispy skin - and the Cobb salad was just as good! We shared a bread basket and the rolls tasted like they all just left the oven. Our waiter suggested the cheesecake for dessert and he was spot on - so good! Ambience wasn't the best (music from the speakers mingled with the live music from the bar was distracting) but our server and the food more than made up for it!!
